Apex Limits
The only limit we have with groups is when it comes to Apexes. There are only allowed 2 Adult apexes per group both herbs and carnivore! The other tiers are unlimited!
The following lists what is considered an apex dino in each game based off server consensus. This may change as the server develops!
Herbivores
Herbivore can mix together with other species to hang out however different species cannot help each other in fights or hunts. Alerting of danger is fine much like how birds alert large herbivores of dangers in the real world by chirping and flying off in a panic.

Carnivores
Carnivores cannot mix with other species and cannot help other species at all.

Scavengers
Scavengers can tag along with any other species at their own risk to either harass, thief food, eggs or hatchlings. They cannot help the creatures they are tagging along with in any way.
Scavengers cannot group with other scavenger species.
